ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL (EDC) of this college was established in the year 12-02-2018. This department has been actively conducting programs in entrepreneurship with concerted initiatives to promote entrepreneurship among the students. Dr.A , Padmanabhan, Additional General Manager, Power Plant Division, BHEL, Thirumayam inaugurated the EDC in our college

• To develop the students and can systematically apply an entrepreneurial way of thinking that will allow them to identify and create business opportunities that will allow them to identify and create business opportunities that may be commercialized successfully.
• To create entrepreneurs by exposing students to entrepreneurship.
• To help students acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and networks to be highly successful in their careers,
• To build entrepreneurial leaders
In the year 2019 various activities carried by EDC of our College. Dr K. Sethu Kumanan , chairman, Sethu Bhaskara Agricultural College and Research Foundation was the chief Guest.
