Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electrical machines, electronics, and electromagnetism. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2010 with an objective to develop professionals through quality education with an intake of 30 students. The Department has good infrastructure facilities and is equipped with fullfledged laboratories such as Basic Electrical Lab, Electrical Machines Lab I & Electrical Machines Lab II, Power Electronics Lab; Power System Simulation Lab etc.The Department maintains high quality of teaching and learning process with the help of well qualified faculty members. Good exposure is given to all the students to update their practical knowledge with the help of technically strong instructors.

The Department offers B.E.Electrical and Electronics Engineering affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE.

Electrical Engineering students will come out with ability and knowledge to perform following parameters:

Ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering

Ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data
